About Judy & Bert

Judy and Bert took their marriage into a business partnership in 2005 when they bought FastFrame in Sherman Oaks.

Before opening FastFrame, Judy Crown forged a notable career in the film and television industry as a hairstylist.

Judy was awarded the Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling for a Series (Designing Women) at the 1987-88 Awards Ceremony and the Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling for a Mini-Series, Movie, or Special in 1999 for her work on the movie for television, Houdini. She has 5 other Emmy nominations, as well.

Judy has been a member of the Makeup Artists and Hairstylists Guild, Local 706 since 1978. She also sits on the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Board of Governors.

Bert Bogash joined his wife, Judy, in the FastFrame business following more than 10 years designing and manufacturing consumer packaging and merchandising displays for clients in the entertainment, natural products, food and electronics industries. Prior to starting his packaging and display business, he held various creative, sales and marketing positions in the music and video industries.

Bert is a Sherman Oaks/Studio City Rotary Club member and is Vice President of the Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce, where he also is on the Board of Directors.

A self-described “people-person,” Bert most enjoys working with FastFrame’s customers to design just the right treatment for their projects in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Most days he can be found behind the front counter, ready to assist the next client.
